#Calendar: Feedback when importing a calendar

There is no UI feedback during a calendar import. The import can take quite a long time (many minutes) but there is no way to know how far along the process is or even if it has been successful. You only know there is some success when you can see events and then you may not see all of them at the same time for any given period while the import and processing of the file continues.

Describe the solution you'd like

Some kind of feedback counter to indicate process. A window pops up when you do a calendar import which shows the events you are importing. Perhaps this can be used to provide feedback and it only disappears if dismissed or the import finishes. Other solutions would be suitable I am sure just as long as there is something to indicate progress.
