Langchain has langchainjs and they are almost done with supporting Edge Functions like Cloudflare Workers or Vercel Edge

Any plans for LlamaIndexjs?

Would be awesome.

Fully agree. A JS/TS version would be great. I have to say I am learning Python solely to use GPT Index. :)

this isn't an immediate priority atm since we envision llamaindex eventually being a BE service with your data. that said,

  1. here's a tutorial on how to easily wrap llamaindex in a flask server and querying it with typescript!
  2. lots of things are changing, this has been a pretty popular ask. could be possible we reverse course in a few weeks :)
