screen stays on when charging phone while powered off

First of all THANK YOU SO MUCH! for bringing lineage OS to the Titan and thank you so much for all your work. I literally just created a github account to report issues here, because I guess it will be easiest to track them.

Regarding the screen issue, when the phone is turned off and is plugged in for charging, the screen shows the charging animation and then instead of being turned off while charging it just shows a black screen. Pressing the power button brings back the charging animation and again once the animation times out the screen stays on and is all black.

I tested this with release v1.1 and v1.2
