doesn't work in chrome

I've tried it on both text/plain and text/csv and neither work with urls that have a .csv extension.

The text/plain doesn't kick in. and the text/csv actually downloads the file. Seems this is an issue on Chrome/Mac.

Example url: http://getrandomdate.com/days-ago/7.csv?count=10

Would be nice if localhost "file" URLs worked too...

@daluu they do - you just need to enable it via the checkbox option on the extension page.

Thanks, didn't know that, overlooked it. Maybe would be nice if checked was the default. I don't see why a user would prefer to have it unchecked, which i think generally causes a file download against a local file (it did so for me).

Not having it checked is I think a security restriction in chrome.

Doesn't work im chrome. I'm using Version 43.0.2357.81 (64-bit) on Xubuntu and files open as plain text. They are named .csv. Allow acces to file.. is checked.

Doesn't work in latest Chrome (Version 47.0.2526.8 dev (64-bit); OS X). Such a shame as this looks like an awesome tool.
