Bug! I know this has been reported before, but is there any progress on a way to fix it?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Opening shakespeer from the applications folder
- says initializing databases
- then says a bug has been found
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? shakespeer 09.11 Macintosh
Please provide any additional information below. have deleted program and downloaded again. still won't open properly.

I may be incorrect, but I believe that the error is just caused by a problem with some settings files. If all you did was delete the application, it leaves the settings intact. You have to use a program like appzapper http://www.appzapper.com/ to completely remove it. Try using appzapper and then reinstalling shakespeer.
