Why is this command not available in the Command Pallette?

I read in the README that the command is not available in the command pallette. I'm wondering why that is the case. I love using small extensions like this on an if needed basis, the pallette is perfect for that. Just wondering. And I'll never get an answer if I don't ask. :)
