New cmdlets needed pertaining to hierarchy

Open clumnah opened this issue 5 years ago • 3 comments

Describe the solution you'd like In 5.1, we introduced new endpoints under the MSSQL section for hierarchy. Pre-5.1 they were internal only. I would like new cmdlets written so I can use this functionality in scripts. In Rubrik, a hierarchy could be SQL Instance->Database or SQL Instance->AG->Database.

Having these cmdlets will enable easier interaction for users to use these api calls. Describe alternatives you've considered I can write the API call myself via Invoke-RubrikRestCall

Thanks @clumnah - we will take a look and create the proper 5.1 API calls...

One thing I noticed, 5.0 and 5.1 behavior is different. It maybe best to make this work for 5.1 forward. The behavior and results for 5.0 do not match that of 5.1.

Absolutely. We will make sure it applies to anything 5.1 and above, leaving all other functionality the same for previous versions
