I also encountered issues with Brave locally while I was testing the previous release. Strangely it seemed to be opinionated about which websites it retrieved cookies for e.g. Google cookies...

I'm not getting this on macOS with Chrome 116.0.5845.140 when running the tests locally. Can anyone else confirm they are also seeing this on any platform?

What platform are you attempting to use Chromium on? There is a test in here that uses Chromium on Linux that passed the last time I ran it (last release).
