Feature Request: Customizing Hotkeys

Hi.

For those who don't use a QWZERTY keyboard layout (but instead, the AZERTY one, for example), do you think it would be possible to add an option to customize (Plane controls) hotkeys?

I have a vision and with each commit I try to advance a tiny step at a time towards it, providing something new for the end user and pushing the code in the right direction. At this point implementing this would force me to do a huge jump ahead in my plan, or write something that I know it will be scraped later. As a temporary solution I think that allowing to switch between control presets for different keyboard layouts will do, as it is easy for me to implement and it will be a nice task to prepare for what I'm planning next around flight controls.
