@Vogel612 are you still out there? :-) Would you be willing to fix these build issues and resubmit this PR? I'm facing the same issues as you, and I'd like to get them fixed also. However, I don't want to step on any toes!

@pflugs30 if you have the time and motivation to work on these, please do, I'm currently working on my master's thesis for the next few months. After that I might find time to tackle these again, but I'm not jealous about working this :)

@Vogel612 I will keep on the task until the project builds in VS2022 (though that may need to wait until a new MSBuild version is available! see here). Feel free to delete this PR.
