Add MINGW to port.h

These minor changes makes the library compile with MINGW on my machine. Some changes may be obsolete if PR #58 is merged at some point.

May I suggest that you as the upstream source enable continuous integration with travis, so we can check incoming pull requests etc. If you do enable travis you should also...
