Ambiguous bases

Hi there,

I am examining a wtdbg2.5 assembly and I have two contigs with short (23 bp) stretches of ambiguous N bases. This is not a problem per se but I do not understand what these Ns represent.

Can you please advise?

Possiblly caused by mis-joint of seqs of nearby edges, but this bug is too rare to be debuged.
