e6009f7 is also mentioned in issue #16 . This should be fixed. Also, no, #17 did not include that as mentioned in a comment.

Having python-markdown support would be nice, instead of having to install Markdown.pl when there's already a markdown parser/-html-generator installed in the system (python-markdown is used in a couple of packages here, while Markdown.pl is only installed for shocco's pleasure). I had tried shocco with python-markdown before, but the output was cluttered. That fix would be good.
