What error message are you getting? Can you provide a geyser dump? Can you provide logs?
1.21.61 is the same protocol as 1.21.60 and shouldn't effect mcxboxbroadcast or geyser. Please can you provide a full log

This looks like a Geyser issue, tested on my own machine with a fabric setup and with or without the extension it hangs.
