navigate back button is freeze when using redux-persist in React Native

I upgraded React Native from version 0.67 to 0.71 and noticed that the navigation back button click is not working anymore(click yellow warning box is not working). However, using the goBack method or swiping gestures still work fine. Everything returned to normal after removing the redux-persist, but I'm not sure what caused the issue. I'm hoping someone can help me clarify this confusion.
