imfile: update doc based on refactoring changes/enhancements

This is work in progress - I will add new TODO items as they happen during the refactoring project. Some may disappear later if they are considered to be a bad idea ;-)

The plan is to create a single rsyslog-doc PR once the refactoring is done. So this is primarily a living reminder item. Do NOT begin to depend on or document anything that can be seen here!
