display.mode is not working for shinydashboard lib

Open dvigneshwer opened this issue 7 years ago • 7 comments

App created using shiny dashboard modules is not supporting display.mode="showcase" argument while running the app using the runApp method. It would be good to have this feature for debugging.

The app does not throw any error in particular while running the app but it simply does not display the code in the shiny app.

I came across this same issue. At least in my case, the code is shown below the dashboard (scroll to the end of the page). You can move it to the right side of the app by clicking Show with app.

Nevertheless, there's no highlighting similar to the one shown here: https://shiny.rstudio.com/articles/debugging.html#showcase-mode

Same issue (R 4.0.2, shiny 1.5.0, shinydashboard 0.7.1). As mentioned by @dylanjcastillo, scrolling down helps, but theres's no code highlighting.

Same issue now--any way to implement showcase mode in shinydashboard?
