Interactive themer: Page styles refresh too quick when typing in the theming preferences

As a interactive themer user, when I type or write my theming preferences in text boxes(for ex: google fonts, spacing, Base font size etc) the interactive themer seems to respond too quick without giving the user enough time to complete the typing.

Would it be possible for the page (shiny app or flexdashboard) to wait for a finite amount of seconds (after user completes entering the text) to make sure styles are being updated with correct theming options (and hence avoiding an unnecessary calculation of style changes)?
