Word to Markdown?

Great work thanks very much Is it possible to have a new feature to transform Word documents into R Markdown to continue work from there and not to start over in R markdown from scratch? Cheers Marwa

@marwa38: IIRC pandoc can convert DOCX to Markdown. I have used it in the past with default settings and while it did require substantial re-formatting I think it saved me a lot of time compared to starting from scratch.
