The ESP hangs for 10-20m on each boot

Hardware

ESP32

Firmware version

v2.4.7

Application version

v2.4.7

What happened? What did you expect to happen?

At each and every boot, ESP hangs while trying to load index.js It recovers after 10-20min.

I earlier thought its due to cheap ESP32(it shows PSRAM errors), but it showed up on normal ESP32 also. Till the time (first 10-20m), web service is iaccessible. Homeassistant is working though - as well as commnds.

Additionaly (feature request)

  1. Need to so info type page (BSSID etc)
  2. Need to publish how the discovery takes place (This is my first ESPhome device - all are tasmota). As I put all IOT in their own LAN, HA(which is on different subnet) is unable to see EspSomfy.
  3. The Remote sensors exposed to HA NEED to be identied with rooms please. I have multiple "pool side" curtains - and in HA - I cannot differentiate the Rooms. All "pool side" curtains are indistiguishable (though they are in different rooms)

How to reproduce it (step by step)

After every reboot.

There is no loss of functionality - HA can still talk to EspSomfy during this time.

Logs

The logs are seen after reset device (when connected by USB)- and it says loading index.js (for 10-20minutes)

UPDATE: Seemed I had something unhealthy going on with my 2.4ghz wifi band. The ESPSomfy hardware/firmware were all fine once the network was reset.

I seem to have encountered something similar today out of the blue (it's been smooth sailing since as long as the project's been around). My ESP32 seems to be boot looping, staying connected to wifi for 30s to 120s (according to Unifi logs) before disconnecting and doing it all over again. HTTP home page is unresponsive. Home Assistant shows the device coming back online for what appears like a singular status update before disappearing again.

I haven't had a chance to look at logs over serial. My hunch is this ESP32 has hit it's EOL somehow... just hoping that I'll be able to recover my configuration such that I can move it to a new device!

I have the same issue, but my ESP32 (cheap too) is new. This issue appears from the first moment that I’d instales the ESPSomfyRTS, the ESP32 is looping booting, but only when it connects to HA. If I disconnect them, the ESP32 become stable
