Template of Header and Footer

When the default bootgrid is viewed in a Smart Phone, two problems occur:

The Header and Footer : Both too large for the screen size...can we have a @media css for making them smaller? Header: Search and Actions are misaligned...is there a way to center align both, one below the other ?
