I'd suggest against checking if `node` is a symlink—it can be the case for, say, homebrew installs.

Neat, are you saying I can modify `*.headers` files without affecting anything? In fact, can I `.gitignore` them?

How about to create the webpack configuration file and package.json?

By the way, I really don't know what documentation tool should be used. I just went with JSDoc-toolkit as that seems to be what's widely-available.

Also: you may want to update the README document about Cassandra 0.8.x.
