Armitage hanging at "Connected: connecting to database"
Hello, I am trying to open Armitage. I am running the latest version as of now(I think), I checked the database file earlier and ran Armitage with "127.0.0.1", "5432". "kali", "(my password)". It was doing fine until it got to "Connected: connecting to database". It has been stuck there all night. (I do realize that it may have paused when my computer logged out but that is still a large chunk of time) Interestingly, when I tried to open metasploit, it paused on "starting the metasploit framework console". But the weirdest part was(I was kind of annoyed, ok), when i clicked down on the scroll wheel, (I had to do this several times to get the text right) it would briefly and partially change to something like "can't find MSF_DATABASE". Now when i click it says "hicked" (with that spelling), I think. (It literally just changed) Am I hacked, am I missing something? I wasn't able to find anything remotely like this on the internet. Oh, I just realized, am I Ctrl-V ing with the scroll wheel? Ok, yes, sorry. It is still hanging though...
