Metasploit 5 support
Hello,
The latest release of Metasploit, version 5, which now ships with Kali by default, seems to be not compatible with Armitage. I know the developer has dropped support for the tool long ago, although this is still a brilliant tool. I was wondering if someone is willing to pick up on this project and make it work with metasploit v5.
I would love to see msf5 support. For me it seems to break quite drastically when I try to use meterpreter console. It still works kind-of, just that every command takes ages to complete.
I personally think that this project is way too important to let it die, as it is a big stepping stone for new GUI loving security enthusiasts!
@Moocow9m please tell us how to build it . when I execute "ant clean all" it says : build.xml does not exist!
@Moocow9m I managed to compile your master branch and run the app but it is still not compatible with Metasploit 5. Namely, it won't find any attacks for the targets, just like the "normal" Armitage.
@Moocow9m Thanks for the prompt reply. Maybe someone will able to solve this issue. In the meantime, no GUI for Metasploit...
I have created a fork that works with MSF5 if anybody is interested: https://github.com/redcanari/armitage. It is also part of PR #237
