Inter 4.0 not rendering tabulated numbers in Google Sheets

How to reproduce -

1. Open a Google Sheets file -
2. Set the font to Inter - Inter 4.0
3. Enter some tabulated numbers.
4. Check out the weird rendering.

What I expected -

1. Tabulated numbers should look right - it was working right, until Google Sheets was using Inter 3.19

Inter 3 also had proportional figures. So there is no change regarding that in Inter 4.

This is most likely a Google Docs issue, not an Inter font issue. Google Docs uses the Google Fonts web fonts, which are created by them. Google Fonts web fonts do not include the Tabular Figures (tnum) OpenType feature. So I do not know where your documents would get tabular figures - except if they were actually using a different font.

I am curious to see what you are seeing, but I cannot see those docs. Please post screenshots.

Note: you should probably close this issue (as it is not an Inter font issue) and continue the discussion in the GF issue.
