Regular style displays incorrectly in MATLAB Figures

Open Qhgu opened this issue 2 years ago • 6 comments

Hi,

These days I choose Inter regular style as the display font in the figures produced with MATLAB. However, the regular style can not display correctly, please check the screenshot.

OS: Windows 11 22H2 x64 Inter font: Latest 3.19 MATLAB version: 2022b

I'm pretty certain this is a bug in Matlab. Can you please try the version 4 beta? https://github.com/rsms/inter/releases/tag/v4.0-beta7

Apart from using too large font size (24), what is incorrect about this? Can you please be more specific?

It's strange that this issue seems gone after updating the 22H2 of Windows 11 to build 22621.1555.

However, all the font styles of Inter still display incorrectly in the font preview of the font setting window of MATLAB. It should be mentioned that the .otf version is used here.

A) Does Inter work as expected in other apps like Word? B) Does other fonts have similar issues in Matlab? (Also, variable or not?)

A) Yes. Inter works great in other software. B) No. All other fonts display well in MATLAB.
