Alternative tilde position

issue Would be nice to have an alternative tilde position.

Can you please elaborate? What does" alternative tilde" mean? What are some concrete examples of the thing you want?

Tilde originally comes from "superscription" word, see HTML <sup> tag. Vertical position of alternative tilde I mean that tilde is located between ascender and EM top and not between baseline and x-height, see for example Futura by URW and Futura ND by Neufville Digital or Futura EF by Elsner+Flake, etc:

Perhaps U+02DC "SMALL TILDE" could work in these situations? https://rsms.me/inter/lab/?sample=Hello%20˜&size=80

It's shorter than U+007E "TILDE", but available right now.

I'm curious: Where would this be needed in real-world scenarios? :–)
