High Seirra media keys locked up

Since moving to High Sierra after being open for a period of time the wrapper locks up the media keys. The play button caused a notification sound to ding, and no longer interacts with other media apps such as itunes. Is it possible to disable media key usage with the wrapper?

Can confirm this for me as well. Using macOS 10.13.1

I'm Also having this issue on 10.13.2, There should be somewhere to tell the OS to no give media controls to the webview, I tried fixing it myself, but im very bad at Objective-C and macOS desktop apps.

Maybe a plist entry can do that who knows.
