Can't place floor over ramp

Can't place floor over a ramp.

I started on a small island but was unable to build a bridge to the next island as I was unable to dig a hole above the ramp or build a floor over the ramp. All Gnomes starved to death. So very sad.

You should had been able to mine the ramp from the side, or to build something with elevation above the ramp.

You could argue that building a floor above should potentially fill in the ramp and transform it into a full block?

In Gnomoria, building a floor over a ramp destroyed the ramp.

I prefer your idea of filling the ramp and transforming it into a block.

I was unable to mine the ramp from the side, or rather I did mine the ramp from the side but due to the water level it was replaced with a mother ramp at the next wall, so not a solution.

I used stairs to go up one level, built my bridge to the other side, the gnomes that built the stairs up out of wood planks then refused to build wood stairs down the other end, so also not a workaround.

I solved the problem by digging a tunnel under the river but the delay ended this game.
