Support for reMarkables "smart highlighter"

First of all: thank you for the great work, really nice and useful library!

In their software release 2.7, reMarkable introduced the so-called "smarter highlighter", which gives nice rectangular highlights when highlighting text in PDFs. These highlights currently don't appear in PDFs rendered with rmrl. Would it be possible to add this feature? That would be really useful (for me at least), but I totally understand if that's not possible for you. :)

If you are interested, I have implemented smart highlights in my fork. I am just a hobby coder so the code is not that beautiful as in this repository, but it does its job.

Thanks @naturale0, I just tested your fork, and it works like a charm, even the new v2.11 features.
