Blast against downloaded databases

Hi,

I would like to blast the assembly against the databases of NCBI, but not via the Web blast by rather via a local search. In the blast SEARCH wizard in the GUI the build blast database setup only allows to create a blast database from the assembly .

Sounds like a job for command line blast. You can download the non-redundant database and execute searches locally.

I also like to wrap some databases into Abricate, which has a BLAST backend and gives you a nice output from a more streamlined command.
