Contrib modules not available

How do i add my contrib modules ? it says always not available but my contrib modules in sources directories

ejabberdctl modules_update_specs command not working

This seems to be somewhat random for me, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I ran the container 10 times, and it failed twice, succeeded 8 times. I feel this might be some sort of timing issue
