X-axis labels appear and disappear on scroll

The x-axis labels appear and disappear when you scroll left & right. Note that the issue only happens when you're zoomed out. When you're zoomed in it doesn't appear to be a problem.

@cliffhall, ever find a solution to this issue? Currently experiencing this myself and would love to cross it off my list. In my case,

I'm not only experiencing what you have shown in your gif, but also on pan the ticks end up doubling up and overlapping one another at times. It's incredibly frustrating, especially seeing that this issue is one with the library as it appears on the demo site's examples.
