Manpage for uptimed.conf

Hello

for some time in Debian we have shipped a manpage for uptimed.conf(5), i'm the new maintainer for uptimed, the next upload will have the mentioned manpage autogenerated from sgml using this command

 LC_ALL=C nsgmls debian/uptimed.conf.sgml | sgmlspl sgmlspl-specs/docbook2man-spec.pl

i've attached uptimed.conf.sgml to this issue, credit for the sgml file goes to Helge Kreutzmann uptimed.conf.sgml.txt

would be cool if you could add the same to the Makefile

PS: debian packages needed to build the manpage are

  • sp
  • sgmlspl
  • docbook-utils

why not just use the man file format?

the manpage was provided on that format.

On Debian is customary, and policy, to build all artifacts from source, also It felt like courtesy to the submitter to keep it on SGML format.
