fs permissions

hello,

i am using union fs with a samba share that has all its files forced to a specific user with a permission option of 775, when writing directly though union though the permissions are 664, i attempted to use relaxed permissions, and it shows as running, but permissions on files are still 664? when writing directly to the samba share they have the 775?
