What is cprowl?

cprowl is a command line utility to push notifications to the Prowl (http://prowl.weks.net/) service. I will be personally using cprowl to notify me when my projets are done building and whether they completed sucessfully or failed.

Dependencies

• libcurl (w/ SSL support)

Compile

./waf configure

./waf

sudo ./waf install

Usage

cprowl : prowl client usage: cprowl [-a apikey] [-n appname] [-e event] [-d description] [-p priority]

apikey:
  prowl api key

appname:
  string : application name (default: "cprowl")

event:
  string : event name (default: "event")

description:
  string : description (default: "")

priority:
  -2 : very low
  -1 : moderate
   0 : normal (default)
   1 : high
   2 : emergency
