Add "Return to SpringBoard" Action

I'd like to swap the home press and double press behaviours on my iPhone 4, i.e. press for switcher, double press for quit. Unfortunately there is no Quit/Return to SpringBoard action available. Please consider adding it!

Single tap home button in application has never worked for me with any action! It just bugs out and the proceeds with the iOS default (returning to the sb)

mattoligy: that doesn't sound like any behaviour I've experienced. However, single press home will always return to SpringBoard that way it is impossible to be trapped inside an app. If you think you have a legitimate bug, file a separate ticket.

There is actually the simulate home button action; however, its Info.plist defines it as incompatible for use with the home button events.

The same situation exists for the 'Do Nothing' action so you cannot, say, disable double press home button from activating switcher, which is odd as you are able to set it to something else (and therefore prevent the standard action).

Ryan, it seems some of the incompatibilities set for home/sleep/nothing are actually ok (and may have been added to reduce clutter, thinking nobody would use them), could they be removed?
