my older p7zip-16.02 also works so I don't know what you did.

WinME's scandisk is not packed (with pklite) as well.

I doubt if mozilla still supports old firefox sync which serpent/UXP and serpent 55 are using.

do you do this in ntfs volume? it is untested on non-ntfs volumes.
