Cmder not working as custom terminal

When setting Cmder.exe from Options>Environmet>Terminal>Use Custom Terminal, the Run does not work. It shows error The runner process " failed to start. Can anyone help me on this?

OS: Windows 8.1 Cmder is installed by chocolatey

What I want is the same funtionaity as cmd.exe but instead of opening in cmd.exe it should open in Cmder.exe.

What has been said about Cmder should be also be considered for ConEmu. Cmder was made from ConEmu.
