8BitDo Controller wont connect with anki

My 8BitDo controller is connected with my mac and i also downloaded the anki add on. Normally I press a random button and it automatically connects with anki but this time it doesn´t. I also tried reinstalling the anki add on and reconnecting with my mac but the problem is still the same. Has anyone else the same problem and a solution to this? I really need that controller to work
