[SOS-DESPERATE] Add-on "Controller not detected" Issue.

PLEASE help! I have five med school finals next week. I used this add-on to configure my 8BitDo zero 2 remote back in December 2023. After not using for a few months, I turned it back on yesterday and it was disconnected. I reconnected it by pressing R + Start > Select and then selecting "8BitDo Zero 2 gamepad" on my PC; it successfully connected. The buttons are set as follows: Y=i, B=j, A=g, X=h, R=m, L=k, etc. but I would like to reset them. When I navigate to the Add-on and click "Config", it says, "Controller not detected. Connect your controller and press any button to initialise." (My controller is on and the Anki application recognizes me pressing buttons on the Decks page. But, for some reason, the add-on won't...? I desperately need to change these buttons so I can study. Please please help!
