Unable to toggle wifi in airplane mode

The wifi toggle appears in the menu but without function. When I tap on it, I can't activate/deactivate wifi. I've got a Pixel 5 with Android 14. Do I have to consider something? Thanks in advance!

Edit: I found out that the wifi toggle only works when the flight mode is deactivated.

Use Better Internet Tiles, you'll just need Shizuku

@atleasta Could you please change the title of this issue to something like: "unable to toggle wifi in airplane mode"

@rostopira Not sure if this is a recent regression, but in the latest (March) version of android 14, the stock internet qs tile provides 0 indication if wifi is on but not connected, making something like this project even more potentially useful. But without the ability to toggle wifi in airplane mode, it's not an adequate replacement for the original stock wifi qs tile. Is this something that can in theory be fixed?
