Is there a numbering scheme in use? For example, is 600 a beta just as 700 will be a beta, so we can skip any release which is a round...

FWIW, we just had this again: https://bugzilla.yoctoproject.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14096

> I think we package configuration files for miniperl (native helper executable that is used in building target perl), which are specific for the host compiler and vary from one...

> And yeah xconfig.h is a host-specific file that should not be packaged. Note that we're not installing it explicitly, `make install` is doing that.

No, it's fixed by "pylibfdt_tests: Don't depend on built dtbs" patch from Rob. Depending on how you run the tests changes the DTBs that are used.

Started on this at https://github.com/rossburton/appstream-glib/tree/tests but didn't finish yet, in case someone wants to finish it.

The test is just calling the validate tool. Arguably it's a terrible test case because by e.g. installing an older version of fontforge the test fails.

> Please could you add a changelog entry? Thanks Hopefully that's sufficient.

(shakes fist at cmake, CI, and computers in general)

Yes, I'll get to this shortly.
