Issue with Fans and Kettle

Open sambarlick opened this issue 1 year ago • 5 comments

I have 2 fans that since the 4.1.0 update keep turning on when they are off. The same thing happens with my kettle.

Every few minutes the 3 devices (2 fans and 1 kettle) turn on spontaneously. The option to remember previous state is not available on the fan domain, and I tried setting the default state to off with no success.

I disabled the devices in the tuya core (cloud) integration, I even deleted and re-added the devices.

So far the only fix is to revert back to 4.0.2

Environment

  • 4.0.2:

probably related to #1019

the fix is probably downgrade to v4.0 maybe 4.0.2 fixes your issue but for my test the issue still exist if you try reloading localtuya or restarting home assistant, with v4.0, none of my device randomly turning on/off by themselves even if you reload localtuya or restart HA.

Could not find the right words to explain my fan turning on after a restart or wi-fi drop, but this explains the phenomenon. I have had auto-on/offs with other devices (switches) as well but the option to remember the previous state solves the problem. Will be great to have an update for the other entity types as well with the aforementioned option.

Do not want to downgrade so a temp fix was to disable my localtuya fan and replace it with the official integration's.

Same for me. Downgrading to 4.0 seems to have solved the issue

4.1.1 didn't resolve this issue, in fact it made things worse. Now a light strip is constantly disconnected. I had to revert back to 4.0.2 again.
