fingerprint will enable unlock, but not go away from AOD

Open osswix opened this issue 5 years ago • 5 comments

If i unlock using my fingerprint my phone will give an unlocked message, however remain on the AOD untill i double tab in order to disable it. This is on a samsung s10e running oneui. Is it possible to go straight into my system after unlocking using fingerprint in some way?

I have the same issue, with a new A40 and oneui. Happy to give you more info when needed. I joined the tester program so it's also possible for me to give feedback to test builds

I'm having the same issue on a Pixel 3a. Actually, the fingerprint only works sometimes (can't figure out when), but most of the time it doesn't do anything and I need to double tap to wake and then use the fingerprint.

I have root and I'm willing to test if needed.

Same problem on Samsung A40 with android 10 and nova launcher. Any update possible? I can help with testing.

I'm not sure this is possible to solve since the fingerprint functionality is part of the operating system and I don't have access to it from my app. I will try to see what I can do when I get the time to work on the app.
