Incompatible with S3-Uploads by Human Made

I would love to be able to use this plugin together with S3-Uploads instead of https://optimus.io/. But at the moment it's not possible due to S3-Uploads filtering all the uploads path's to s3:// protocol.

Any way to fix this incompatibility?

I had a similar case, I started with this plugin, and then migrate from EFS to s3, now Im using s3-uploads to sync images from wp to s3 , but I cant find a recipe to use this plugin with that stack, if you found a solution I would like to know before re inventing the wheel hehe!
