Visualization marker not overlaying on the image

My visualization marker topic shows up in the rviz tf frames but doesn't get overlayed on the image topic when it should. What could be causing this? I am using the visualization_marker published by the ar_track_alvar package on kinetic if that provides any further help. Thanks!
