Example Using stuff.cloudant.com as Host Fails to Connect

Encountered an issue while trying out the example provided in the documentation that uses stuff.cloudant.com as a host:

  host = "stuff.cloudant.com",
  transport = 'https',

  pwd = 'things'
)
x <- Cushion$new()
x$ping()

This results in a connection error: Failed to connect to 127.0.0.1 port 5984 after 2042 ms: Couldn't connect to server. It seems like the example might be outdated or the stuff.cloudant.com service is no longer available as a demo server.
