Suggestion: Mute sound

I'd love to see the option to automatically mute the sound when an outgoing or incoming phone call is starting.

Yeah it does not really matter to me

It's a good suggestion, I will take that with me and think about it.

One question I have right away without doing any research is how to handle if users have different soundservers or different commandline options somehow to change / mute volume. Like for example pactl if using pulseaudio.

Should I let the user input his own command to be executed in the config file or should the program try to find out what the user have installed.
