I'm having the same/similar issue whe updating the Mobile app templates (both title and message). All other templates provide a "preview" feature - changing the contents of the template editor...

@via-justa You can export the alert groups via API and generate a csv. (see also #1739).
This is probably a duplicate of #384 @jgbrwn ~~Please see #384 for a possible workaround.~~ I just noticed, you already found the other issue :)
